What is Super Charity Week?

Super Charity Week is the annual Prefects fundraising drive at The Woodlands School. Each year, we support a certain charity that is helping to make our world a better place. During the past few years, we have contributed over $25 000 to various groups, including the Canadian Cancer Society and Free the Children, as well as over $12 000 in 2008 towards the Stephen Lewis Foundation. This year, we are trying to raise funds and awareness for SAFER: Social Aid for the Elimination of Rape, a charity which provides medical equipment and support programs for victims of the rape crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This year’s Super Charity Week runs from April 17 through to April 27. The Prefects are relying on everyone’s help to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause. Join in our many Super Charity events, and help make this Super Charity Week the best one yet!
