The Woodlands' students have done it again! In the Grade 10 Michael Smith Science Challenge out of UBC: of 876 students writing nationwide, Woodlands' standings were as follows:
2nd overall Cheng Z. - $250 cheque
1st in Ontario Charlie G. - $100 cheque
Top 10% (overall)- Jim C., Helen S., Claire D., Dickson W.
Top 25% (overall)- Shannon W., Steven L.
Some clarification, Cheng beat Charlie, so technically, he won Ontario. However, since Cheng won a national prize, they gave Charlie the Ontario prize. So we proudly have the #1 & #2 contestants in Ontario.
