Woodlands School Council

The Junior Badminton team competed brilliantly in the LYNX Tournament held at Lincoln Alexander Secondary School. 

Congratulations go to all the quarter finalists: Kitty C., Janet L., Weiwei L., Lydia W., Amy X., Andy X., Jack Y., and Christine Y.

Special congratulations go to:

Our mixed doubles players represented by Liting L. & Daniel T. and Mehwish P. & Jason C.  Leting and Daniel won 5 straight matches and took the gold medal by winning all their matches in two games.  Mehwish and Jason finished in second place.

The two girls singles players represented by Helen Z. and Kathy L. also defeated all players from the other schools in 2 games and finished by taking the gold and silver medals respectively.

Last but not least, the boys doubles made up of Victor H. and Michael L. blitzed their way through the five matches and earned the well deserved gold medal.  The other two boys doubles teams consisted of Ben H. & Hank X. who finished in second place and Saad S. & Daniel M. placed fourth.
